The Little Mouse, The Red Ripe Strawberry,
and The Big Hungry Bear
By Don and Audrey Wood; Child's Play 1984
Summary: Who likes Strawberries? Well the mouse certainly does. The bear most definately does? But what about the reader?
My Review: I thought that this was a well done Children's book. The illustrations and wording were excellent. I couldn't help but very nervous for the mouse who picked the strawberry that hungry bears like to eat. The illustrations are bright and fun and sure to catch a child's eye. I seriously muttered "awww that was cute" at the end of the story. I really enjoyed it!
Things to Watch Out For: Strawberry cravings.
Thanks for laying down the rules ^.
ReplyDeleteI have been trying to remember the name of this book for about 2 months now, your synopsis brought me from google right to it and helped me remember the plot.
Now I just have to find a copy.
Thanks a lot!
